Unless you blog to avoid having to spend money on therapy then you probably want more readers then you currently have. I’m no pro so I’ve been surfing around looking at other successful blogs and trying to grab some ideas.
I found some great info over at the Internet Marketing Sweetie Blog by Alice Seba.
I’d summarize here, but she did such a nice job cutting to the chase it would be just as fast to give her blog a quick visit. How to Get Blog Traffic - 11 Steps to Growing Readership
You’ll also find some invaluable advise on affiliate marketing that can go a long way towards making your addiction to blogging pay for itself or perhaps even some extra gas money (albeit not much).

I’ve always liked when people post a pic of themselves in forums, blogs, and other social networks because it personalizes them far more than words can. So I’m glad I found a tool that makes it pretty darn easy to upload and resize pics for these social sites or for any other use online.
Site is MyPictr and if you know how to read and click buttons you can figure how to upload and resize pics. Give it a try. I resized a pic of myself in 50×50, 64×64, 80×80, 100×100 that covered all the forums I like to visit, plus a few blogs I have. It’s strange at first, but I just think it helps establish credibility and hopefully some level of trust.

If you’re a blogger you no doubt know about Technorati, but if this name is unfamiliar to you then read on…
Technorati is to blogs what Google is to Websites. It is THEE place to search for blogs about any subject matter you’re into. For example, I just did a search for blogs with the word “WAHM” in them and over 5,000 blogs turned up! http://www.technorati.com/posts/tag/wahm Click the link to see what I mean. To my pleasant surprise this blog was already in there! I never cease to be amazed at the technology we have at our fingertips.
